CAT Scan

Computerized tomography has now become the standard of care in the evaluation of urologic patients for stone and other urinary tract problems. We offer this in our Flowers office because it is convenient for our patients and also to assist us in the efficient diagnosis of urologic problems.

Our CT scanner, as compared to ways used in the past to diagnose stones, is much more sensitive in that there are stones that do not show up on a regular xray that can be seen on a CT image. All scans that we do in the office are not only read by us, they are also read by a Board Certified Radiologist here in Dothan.
